Know Your Customer

In terms of the Financial Intelligence Act (FIA) (Act. No. 13 of 2012), Hollard is obliged to establish and verify the identity of its policyholders and must obtain identification records (and in some instances additional records) as well as certain information from its policyholders.  This process is referred to as KYC (Know-Your-Client), and information must be kept up to date on an ongoing basis in terms of the said Act. 

We realize that your time is valuable.  As such, we have partnered with IdentityToday – a secure, web-based digital platform, to make sure that the hassle is taken out of this process for you, our client.   Accordingly, you can safely send your identification records and information to us electronically via IdentityToday -  it will take no more than 3 minutes of your time and help is always at hand.  All information submitted is treated and stored strictly confidential.

Please onboard yourself using your smartphone - just have your ID document (or valid passport or valid driver’s licence) at hand. You will be asked to take a photo (head and shoulders) of yourself and your identification document.
